Kilnsea
Fished Kilnsea, (East Yorkshire), on Saturday from 9am till 6pm. The winds were Westerly, warm and on our backs with one shower midday for about 20 minutes, time for a break. The sun shone all day with the odd break behind the clouds. The weed was in abundance at the start but after a couple of hours it was reduced to bits blowing up the line. This section of the Holderness is a bit snaggy but we didn’t loose too much end tackle. The fishing was very slow with only Rockling showing, but another, pleasant day on the beach. This venue would best fished best in the winter months when there would be plenty of Cod and Whiting to keep you busy.
A good tackle shop, on the way to the Holderness Coast, in Hull, is A & D Angling. Here Mark will give you the latest on what's been caught from the Beaches & Boats.
